Whitney Wilkerson was the Chair of 2007's Southern Ladies Purse Gala, the Triangle's newest signature event. The gala features a live and festive auction of unique, one-ofa-kind and designer purses which are being donated from around the country. Proceeds from this event will benefit Me Fine Foundation, a non-profit that voluntarily provides necessary resources and financial assistance to parents and caregivers with children being treated at Duke and UNC Children's Hospitals.
