Award-Winning Creative Services Firm Provides Capital Campaign Support For
Learning Development Center

Durham, NC — Raven Manocchio, principal and business director for Stop Studios, an award-winning creative services firm specializing in communication design and event management, has announced that the firm has been selected by The Hill Center to produce development materials to support the center's $12 million capital campaign. Through this initiative, the center will raise funds for the development of a new building to assist in the expansion of its teaching programs. The Hill Center offers a unique half-day program to students in K-12 with diagnosed learning disabilities or attention deficit disorders.

“We are pleased to work with The Hill Center on this campaign,” said Manocchio. “Stop Studios supports the center's mission of helping students with learning disabilities succeed both in and out of the classroom.”

About The Hill Center:

For nearly three decades, The Hill Center has enabled students with learning differences to succeed, not just in the classroom, but throughout their lives. The Hill Center serves students and teachers through pioneering Academic and Outreach Programs based on its evidence-based Hill Methodology. At The Hill Center, K-12 students receive instruction in reading, written language, math and foreign language in half-day classes with a 4:1 student/teacher ratio. Hill Center students spend the other half of their school day at their public or private school, to which they typically return full-time after two to three years. Through the Hill Center's internationally accredited PREP Program, they offer four levels of teacher certification in Hill Methodology that meet the competency standards of the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC). In addition, The Hill Center provides Student Enrichment opportunities, Tutoring, and Summer School programs for the broader community.
